Car lovers get set to fuel their passion at this year’s Lyn Valley Classic car show

For lovers of all things car-related there’s only one place you will want to be in North Devon next week as the finishing touches are put in place for a fresh new car show in the spectacular setting of Lynmouth. The Lyn Valley Classic 2015 car show is set to welcome over 100 classic vehicles and sports cars as they head on down to the village's Manor Green on June 13, which is a small and pleasant coastal drive from our North Devon holiday cottages with indoor pool facilities. This exciting new event has been organised, not only to have the car enthusiasts purring at the superb sights of amazing motor vehicles, but also to help raise money for four local charities, which has received the backing of a hoard of businesses in the town of Lynmouth. James Tucker, of Lyn Financial Services, established the event after helping to sort out a smaller, impromptu event on the green in 2014. Visitors can expect to see a whole host of classic vehicles, with a range of local dealers joining the show to showcase a selection of top-of-the-range sports cars, notably BMW’s new i8 supercar, some iconic Ferraris, and stunning Maseratis. Additionally, the members of the Serious About Classic Car Tour will be wowing the crowds with their impressive parade from Valley of Rocks to the Manor Green at 12 noon on the day. One more treat on the day will be the chance to win a Fantastic Tour around Exmoor in a Classic Ferrari driven by James Tucker of Lyn Financial Services. Visitors will also be able to obtain special vouchers from the show, which can be used to enjoy discounts and offers at businesses across the twin towns of Lynton & Lynmouth. Money raised from the event will go to Children's Hospice South West, North Devon Hospice, Devon Air Ambulance and Lyn Lions Club.
