Celebrity chef Michael Caines set for new venture at Kentisbury Grange
If you’re enjoying our self-catering cottages with a pool in North Devon and you are looking to enjoy a fantastic evening of fine cuisine then the news that Michael Caines is set to bring his culinary skills to Kentisbury Grange will have you taste buds on high alert! Michael and his team are set to oversee the operations of this stunning Grade II listed Victorian Manor House, on the edge of the Exmoor National Park. Michael and his team will be joining a hand’s-on partnership which will see them providing fully operational support and guidance of all aspects regarding hotel and restaurant operations. This will include working closely with the kitchen team to create Michael Caines menus by utilising the finest produce and ingredients North Devon has on offer. To mark the launch of this exciting agreement Michael is going to team up with the hotel’s Head Chef Jean-Marc Zanetti (himself a Michael Caines protegé) in order to host “An Evening with Michael Caines MBE” on the 19th of October 2014. The evening will feature a beautiful six course tasting menu with both chefs sharing the duties by creating three dishes each. This is undoubtedly going to be a wonderful evening for all the ‘foodies’ out there as well as those who are already fans of chef Caines’ work. Michael will introduce each course himself and mingle with the diners throughout the evening to give the benefit of his twenty years of experience at the very top of British cuisine.
