Those lucky ones who have decided to book stays in holiday cottages in Devon this week can expect to look forward to some fairly mild weather for this time of year. North Devon expects to see highs of 16C Wednesday falling only slightly throughout the rest of the week. Reasonably cold mornings with some rain will see drier afternoons which will carry on through to the evenings for the most part. The afternoons bring the promise of sunny spells. The lowest afternoon temperature should be around the 12C to 14C mark, with only Wednesday seeing light early evening showers to the region. Thursday could see a slight change in the air flow with cooler, south-westerly air coming in from the sea substituting the milder air from the south east, which comes in from the continent. The peak temperature on Thursday will therefore dip to around 13C, an average temperature for this time of year. Friday is set to be a dry day generally, following a similar pattern but with a slightly increased chance of light showers in some areas throughout. Temperatures will be around 12C to 13C. According to MET Office Saturday looks to be the better option of an unimpressive weekend with some cloud along with the chance of light showers. Top temperatures will be 12C it has been forecasted. Sunday could be the worst of the week, with more light and persistent rain at times. Generally visitors can expect to enjoy a good deal of dry weather and nothing out of the ordinary for this time of year. Additionally it won’t feel especially windy, with breezes near the coast of between 15mph and 25mph.
